No I haven't wanted to leave, but I did have a break for quite a while. I could understand it if I was constantly receiving violations, and getting suspended though, but I think I would just come back under a different name, and lie low for a while.

That sounds like "when" you get suspended. If you enjoy it here, then stay, but if not, then leave.
I haven't been suspended, but there are times when I just need a break. :) It gets obsessive and I end up not having enough time for video games and online poker championships.
I really should learn to multi-task! :P

Yes I have, several times. People are either - have no sense of humour, overreact to ONE single word rather than trying to understand the whole message, so opinionated that everything offends them and expect everyone else to feel the same, plain intolerant, or else.. just born nasty.
But, after some time spent calming down and getting away from Y!A for a day or so, I realised that - if I leave - THEY WIN!

Oh, no. Say it ain't so. Why don't you file an appeal? It seems all the "popular" people are getting deleted. That sucks!
Yes, I have thought about quitting Yahoo!Answers because of all the wrongful Violation Notices and the time/effort to appeal them.

Oh, try this : change your nick name then maybe trolls don't find you or ask questions which don't break the guidlines.
To answer your question : Yes, I wanted to leave it many times but because some people are here so rude and impolite.
