Fixing ear phones is not really worth it. YOu can buy new headphones cheaper than you can fix old ones. I recomend sony ear pnoes that last for a while.

RE:
Is there a way to fix broken earphones?
I have a pair of earphones that came with my MP3 player that I bought a month ago. Now sound only comes out of the left earphone. Is there a way to fix this?

It's probable that the thin wire leading to the right earphone got stretched and broken. That usually happens when you wind the cord around the player when you're not using it.
You can splice a new bit of wire in, but it's very fine detail work - might be easier to just pick up another set of earphones. They only cost a few dollars.

It depends how broken they are, maybe the thing yer using only needs one speaker, so only one earphone. And maybe its not plugged in completly

YES! I've had this same problem. Play with the wires. Don't be rough with them, but try pushing them (or just the one that doesn't work) up and/or twisting them/it gently.
