He just wants to appeal to as many people as he can. Many people think that Obama thinks the public doesn't realize his neutral position. After all, much of the public doesn't follow politics, so this may be his move for "trying to slide it past them." And, when things don't work, the general public tends to think the same thing, so Obama just becomes agreeable and condems. This way he'll look more appealing.

No money, no law, and so no politics.
Politics is a game we play in order to get to where we want to be. It is a profession and a dirty one, if the person knows better, than the person also knows that once the person gets what the person wants (especially in serving the people) that the person has got the job.
The final analysis is whether or not another American Civil War will lead these the United States of America into the final war of the world.

Edwards or Huckabee in my personal opinion.
While the rest of the candidates are being bribed by lobbyist of huge corporations, there are those competing with their blood, sweat and tears.
Once on the job and the person still plays politics. We have the wrong person for the job.

Morals, ethics and constitutional law. If we continue to practice and pass ear marked laws. God Save the United States of America. For The USS United States of America will head towards a course of destruction. The American Civil War revisited. This time the good will stand and fight the good fight to win back American Society's Rights.

I don't believe he has very strong convictions, and may be swayed. I also believe he does not want to offend anyone and will not show what he is truly in favor of, or against, as he is afraid he might lose a vote.

He just follows the liberal crowd and thinks that is all it will take to be president, along with the help of Oprah!

When you see the goodness of a person
your question is consider a person that
is having a problem with accepting the
simple fact that a black man has the chance
of becoming the President of the United States
of America.
The dominant race in this country that votes to
elect their president is white.
If he becomes president you should ask only
the white race questions like WHY.
Not Mohamed.
Especially your white women.

Based on the comments from one of his books, he feels that it is better to listen then to take a stance. Once a person takes a stance on an issue, they are no longer willing to listen to others.

His idea of leadership is to build consensus through thoughtful dialog and then once the group comes to the same conclusion, it is safe to act. If there is no consensus, then no action should be taken.

God help us if this man every is elected President.

Because he's smart enough to realize the Clinton flip flop, take every stand available, will not work this century. So, he's taking no hard stands. Doesn't impress me, but I guess it works for others.

I read all the responses prior to my response. And I also believe he's being overhandled, therefore not being true to the core. I think he's a sinking ship now. I see him starting to think more about his senator seat and salvaging it. One of these days we're gonna have a true warrior in the Democratic party. Obama came up short.

Obama has few core beliefs he will stick with based on his own principles...just like any other dem lib!
No core beliefs in whats right and wrong...only relevancy and popularity poles! and those change as often has Hilery's views on immigration, drivers locences...etc.
These two should go in on a waffle House together...and waffle us to death.
