Why do Fake Conservatives love the liberal media so much?

Because they follow false patriots, false Christians, false agendas and believe false flag attacks are real.
They're exactly the kind who'd believe communist countries called "Democratic Republics" were actually democratic republics if they were living in them at the time - gullible and indoctrinated to the point of being a major problem for truth.

Because the fake conservatives, like their liberal counterparts, are poorly educated. They rely on their years of public (that is to say state-run) education to provide them with the framework and premise (as well as intellectual laziness) for making sense of the world they live in, which then is reinforced (and spoon-fed) by mainstream media.
The result? An overwhelming bias in favor of centralized government power, and a willingness to invariably give the government the benefit of the doubt where our lives and freedoms are concerned.
Also, fake conservatives, like their liberal counterparts really look to their government to make them feel secure at any cost. They may not always agree on specific spending programs to accomplish that goal (feeling secure and taken care of), although there is often more agreement than one might think. And their dislike of the "other side's" pet programs isn't sufficient to deter compromise in order to see that their own spending programs continue. Pathetic.
A major reason the "progressive left" has been ineffective at stopping the war is a failure to make it the uncompromising number one issue. They get bought off with the promise of continuing pet programs, so they end up voting for pro-war Democrats again and again.
Conservatives of old and Liberals of old both shared a respect of the Constitution and limits on government power. In that sense they are similar and would be horrified at where this country has gone. Modern Conservatives and Modern Liberals (or should I say "Neo..") both are similar in that they support huge spending programs, a strongly centralized government, and a willingness to "democratically" violate the Constitution whenever they find its limitations too inconvenient as far as their perceived good of the country is concerned.
Finally if anyone were to do an in-depth study of history, they would realize that time and again "War is the health of the state". That governments of all types have used war as THE means to increase power and authority, usually forever, unless there is a revolution. Even in post-war-peacetime (an illusion, since this country has been on a war footing since the end of WW1 if not before), government power is never rolled back to where it was before the war. After a couple of generations (or nowadays, alot sooner), people forget what it was like before, and are ready to receive the next ratcheting up of government power.

This is a wonderful question!!!
If only more Republicans and dems would realize that the straight party-line demarcations are rapidly becoming obsolete!
Bush won on the strength of his mis-representation of being a conservative.....but hes a lib in con clothing! By any measure, he is a RINO ex:
Boarders
amnesty
big spender/budget breaker
corperate tax breaks
education bill w/ teddy...
no challenge to roe v Wade
And Huck is a stealth lib Republican as well, his agenda fits almost perfectly w/ Bush...except Huck loves more taxes.
So, if you guys want 4 more years of the same kind of crap Vote Huck '08

I am a conservative who is against the weak UN, against unreasonably assessed taxes, want the biggest fricken wall built along our borders... I am however for this Bushwar you call it. I can give you reasons but I fear they will fall on deaf ears. The future will tell us if it was the right thing to do and no one now can discredit that.

Regan opened up our Mexican border to get cheap labor from the poor central american countries. It is obvious that the conservative agenda centers around making as much money as you can no matter how many people you hurt or kill.

Er uh, real conservatives support open borders- you know....free movement of capital AND labor.
You seem to be just wrong about the UN, abortion, Bushwar. Most conservatives, as we know the radical right, oppose those.
