It's a decent question. I could not answer it objectively as I understand it and can speak some of it.
I would say that the sound of any language depends on the narrator. Even English sounds superb when you hear Sir Richard Burton do Shakespeare.
Personally, as a musically sounding language, I like Italian. But I have also heard-while not understanding a word of it- a Vietnamese poem that sounded wonderfully melodic.
