1. Why did you wait so long to enlist black troops? The 200,000 that fought, mostly from the South, made the difference between winning and losing.
2. Why didn't you support the Southern unionists more? Almost 120,000 white Southerners wore blue and laid down their lives for the Union. If you had talked more about them, and had helped the Southern guerrillas fighting the slavers behind the lines, that stupid "North vs. South" regional nonsense wouldn't have taken off. The rebels' fake "nationalism" would have had less support, and we wouldn't have as many idiots motivated by "regional pride" waving that damn stars and bars flag today.
3. Why did you wait so long to get rid of that traitor McClellan? And why just fire him? Pinkerton gave you the evidence that he was in contact with the rebels -- why not shoot him like he deserved?

1. Did you ever feel guilty that you were using abolitionists and slaves' pursuit of freedom to further your own cause?
2. Did you think that people wouldn't notice if you took slavery off the list of reasons for why the North went to war in the middle of the war?
3. Why are you seen as a great figure of freedom for blacks if you only released them in the states that were against you -- as a move against the South's economy instead of driven by moral reasons -- and also proclaimed them as property that could be taken from an opposing force and forced to fight? (General Robert E. Lee was a man of great moral character, known for his dedication to his family, and eventually released his slaves, yet few people think of him as in the same league as A. Lincoln.)
