I disagree and here is why.
People have become so private that they have forgotten OR never knew what it's like to be polite and enjoy the benefits of a good neighbor.
Raised a good hearted southern girl we were taught manners, respect and how to care for one another. And, we didn't mind helping each other. Now a days a good neighbor is hard to find. Why is this? Because people have become detached, unconcerned, cruel, selfish and rude. It's a shame because you are missing out on some very wonderful experiences. When you do a good deed for someone it always comes back to you. Sadly most will never have a good nrighbor because of fences.

The best fence ever was the Berlin Wall. It had a concrete wall topped with barbed wire, mine-fields, attack dogs, and machine-gun nests.

Yes, because you both have to look after a fence and if it's good you must get on.
