Alright, what your point of view on this...

Do you think Erasing certain memories in peoples brains will help them? Say for example they have been hurt when younger, or they have been in a abusive relationship. Erasing the memories can eliminate the experience one has gained... but also allow them to trust and love someone else without feeling fear..

Or bad relationships some people seemed to get over attached, they could spend years talking about how tey love this person they haven't seen for a year...

What do you think is better to have the experience in mind? Or is better to erase them and have the chance to have a better experience?

in a way to an extent i do. if someone was raped or abused then maybe. but if we start using it like its plastic surgery than we are all going to be pretty messed up. if someone uses it for just a bad relationship than they dont learn from the mistakes made in the relationship and they'll make them in their next. i think our memory is a great thing and yes everyone has embarrasing or sad memories but with time those embarrasing memories usually turn into funny memories and sad ones depending on the situation could turn into happy ones. "Years teach us more than books" and if we erase those years what have we learnt?

It is good for some and bad for others. I know a person who woke from a coma months after the accident. He has no memory of the incident and being the only survivor is also crippled for life. Perhaps he does remember and does not want to.
It is a real hassle to have your short-term memory lapse. It is a real wake-up call for those of us who are coming of retirement age soon. It is not a good feeling.
I need my memory to remind me and help me manage reality or better yet coordinate with reality better. If I forget all that I will be right back where I started and dependent again like a little baby.

OK Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but I think that no memories should be erased, it will possibly lead to brain damage and a lot of other problems. Plus the mind represses a lot of traumatic memories too.

Agreed, Eternal Sunshine clearly demonstrates this is not a solution.

Anything that doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The problem is those with traumatic memories cannot make this connection so they are trapped in an endless cycle of depression and fear.

The noun is "element" with an adjectival clause "of view". you may pluralize that as "factors of view" an analogous way which you may pluralize "lawyer time-honored" as "legal experts time-honored" or "days of splender".
