I'm building an arcade machine and need a bit of help. In MAME, when I try to play a game like, Metal Slug 1 (Super Vehicle), I get a message saying that I am missing one or more chips (I forget which kind). Is it referring to the actual game, or my hardware? And once you answer that, can you tell me how to fix it?
Thank you very much.

Do you have the NeoGeo Bios rom? and if you do do you have it in with the other game roms?

Some games require Bios roms Like the NeoGeo games. Most sights have them along with the game roms, just look for NeoGeo and download the rom. Keep it in the zipped format and place it in the rom folder.

Should work fine no bugs I tested game today in Mame32 versions 99 and 120.

Getting it for unfastened and then redistributing it for a earnings is going previous the pedestrian regulation breaking that includes record sharing. you're observing no longer common time in penal complex in case you proceed with this. EDIT: ROMs are beside the point, promotion a MAME emulator remains unlawful. Arcade instruments certainly have hardware/utility which will desire to be offered and offered legitimately like the rest.
