Ron Paul possibly not being nominated and running as an independent would steal a large enough chuck of the vote to guarantee a victory for the democrats.

That assumes that (a) Ron Paul is electable in a general election, which he is not, and (b) that Ron Paul will run as a third party candidate, which he may not. He may steal antiwar votes from Clinton as well as from whoever the Republicans might nominate.

We will see. I won't be voting for him regardless.

Good luck,
Dana

Ron Paul draws a team of very passionate supporters via his regulations. via fact of that, his autonomous supporters may well be prepared to change to republican as a fashion to vote for him.

I think it may go the other way. Lets say Obama gets the nomination for Pres and Hillary runs independent the republicans would win. For example, the election of 1912 with TR, Taft, and Wilson

Do you HONESTLY think if Hillary doesn't win the Dem nomination that she won't run as an independant?? Come on this lady's only goal is to become President no matter what it takes.. She will probably be running as an independant as I doubt if she will win as a dem... She... NOT Paul... is the cancer of this election.

Definitely Ron Paul is the only candidate that is different. The Rep and Dem are just two sides to the same coin anymore and Ron Paul is the only one not on that coin.

I don't think a Republican could win this election regardless of who is nominated. And I do not mean any disrespect by that. The Republicans can thank George Bush for their loss to be in this coming election.

I don't think it matters who is elected if it's not someone who understands the Constitution and has the integrity to honor his oath of office in relation to it.

In other words, I would vote for Ron Paul, even if it split the Republican vote. I used to think Bill Clinton was a bad president until George Bush was elected and saw how he repeatedly violated the supreme law of the land. Every time you violate a law, you weaken its ability to protect our freedom.

Ron Paul is the man of the time, once anyone reads what he stands for and how he has voted in Congress, at least you can see why his supporters get excited and donate money, and hire a Blimp and go to the meet-ups and put the bumper stickers and sign out ................ raise $18,000,000. for him.
First time I have been excited about a race since Barry Goldwater in the '60s

Hey Bee Bee, you need to wake up!!
"because 6 months down the road we all have to get serious and put the right president in"

We need to get serious now. You have a choice between a dozen different candidates. Don't wait until your choice is down to two, possibly three.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.
