OK after this I may have to shut off my radio. :) Nothing strictly to READ INTO this one.
I saw Mommy kissing "Santa Claus"
in the laundry room so late last night.
He musta snuck in the back door
His coat was on the floor
and he and Mommy were giggling
but I sure don't know what for...........
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BUT I saw Mommy kissing "Santa Claus"
as she led him through the house so deeply dark.
Up the stairs and to her room
as I sat there in the gloom,
Setting out the cookies and milk
I heard my Mommy "swoon"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I heard Mommy telling "Santa Claus"
"Hush, yer gonna wake that little boy."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And with a big smile on my face
I heard my Daddies voice
Saying, "Never fear I got him lots of toys."
Melody, it wasn't "asked" strictly. Q&A dictates 10 words or more in the form of a "question",,,AND adds the puntuation. It is merely some "play" time" for one, very deeply involved in poetic passions. Happy Holidays to you.
