We bought an aluminum bucket at Christmas Tree Shops. It had a Patriots Logo Decal on it (which I peeled off fine). There is adhesive residue left on it. I've tried goo gone, Silver polish and Un-Du and nothing has worked. Since this is a gift container (for a non-sports fan) I need to have it completely removed. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There is a product called "Goo-B-Gone" that works really well on removing adhesives.

My husband uses different things to take off different kinds of adhesives, have you tried mineral oil?
