i know that there is NORAD for example keeping track of space debries and everything which could harm the shuttle, or satellites flying up there.
But the link ??
There is in fact that much debries flying around that its most likely that there was a burned-out rocket stage falling from out of the skies in october.
Most of these objects are totally burned up in the upper atmosphere, so you just get a warning in the news if there is in fact something more solid coming down like a satellite or so.
