I used to feel different too when I was your age. When I was an adult I struggled with addiction and, through the process of recovery, I learned that I wasn't so different from other people. I just thought I was. When I shared my innermost feelings with people I could trust, and found out they felt that way too sometimes, that feeling of being different started to vanish. And I'll bet you're a lot like other people too. You've probably been told by certain people in your life(maybe not directly but indirectly) that you ARE somehow different. Accept the possibility that these people are wrong.
The feelings you're going through now may be different that other peoples but that's not because you're different, it's because the situation you're in is different. You are reacting in a normal way to a abnormal situation.
Deal with it the best way you can. Find comfort where you can. Find safe places where you can share your feelings with others, and you can make it through this.

(May you walk on the right path)

Many people have it that way. Internet is a place where you usually have the advantage of talking to people without speaking to them or seeing them and communicating on common terms or terms of interest. People want to communicate and want to be known and heard. It is human nature. Never create depression in yourself. Although the Internet is playing a major role in helping you, but remember that a poll conducted says that people usually get depressed by the Internet a lot due to waiting for others, etc. When you get to know the other person, you will eventually wait for him online to come. The world has so much to give and take. When you start having good interaction, you will soon know.

Thank you.

It's not bad to use the Internet to build social skills. As a single parent (and a man,) for many years it was the only form of adult conversation I had. (Single parents will understand this.)

However, it is not healthy for a young person to cut themselves off from the real world. You will only distance yourself further as time goes by.

Might I suggest - no one **really** hates you, it is mostly your self-image that is giving you this impression? Look at the nickname you've chosen for yourself.

Start loving yourself, and it will make it easy for people to love you as well.

Yes its normal, I find it essayer to talk to people over the net than face to face. There is less pressure when you are using a keyboard to communicate than words. you need to find people around you that are into the same things as you are. Don't loose any sleep over it Hun, those people that hate you must be a bunch of dick-heads. See ya 4 now ;-)

if u find peace and comfort amongst the internet community then continue to do so, until you feel you have gained an understanding of persons sufficient enough to build relationships with others, socially.
