I have good ideas about how to work at my job and improve things, but I don't know if I should be the idea person as it may be threatening to my boss.

I always work to help, rather than be a one-upper, but I also need to be sensitive to others as well.

My boss doesn't seem to not like my ideas/suggestions, but if my gut tells me I should watch how to move, I try to listen (haven't done it in the past).

I don't know if this will affect my chances in my getting raises or bonuses. My boss's boss doesn't like me and I'm not sure who decides what. I don't work directly under my boss's boss (obviously), so unless she's told of my efforts, she won't know them.

I don't want to take more on and look like a doormat, and think it's good to come up with solutions and have initiative.

Please help me in what's best to do in the workforce.

There truely is two choices , the worse things are ,(organization wise )the more people can get off unemployment ,, OR you can get it all fixed and make the company some money , There are companies out there who pride themselves on providing jobs for X amount of workers ,, but off shore jobs are getting more and more buisinesses to move their companies over there , so having an organizational skill , is truely a ballancing act which do you do ?????? unemploiment , has a side effect ,, and if you get it all fixed up so that it all runs smoothly ,, you could find out what that side effect is ,, or you could force someone who saw the problem in it's completeness and chose to do the ( get another person in here ) routine ,,out . in essence the person responcaple for your getting that job in the first place ,.on the otherhand the buisiness could move off shore Yes indeed ,,, find the balance,, I always say if it aint broke don't fix it , but if it's broke, you could always put your hand in there and see if you couldn't pry it loose ,, aint that manny people out there with only one hand .

You have nothing to lose - except your job, worst case scenario is you'll be looking for a new place to work and if your ideas are half as good as you think they are then who knows where they might lead in your professional life!!

Well,as it seems you are in a very bad situation. You should persuade your boss somehow.I think that's the best way.Cuz if your boss likes you he will tell his boss and your situation will be way better.Good luck friend.
