Not to sure how to explain it but I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about...when you sorta squeeze (not to hard obviously) the back of the snakes neck, what does it do..does it stun them? Do They get scared and try to bite when you let go? Professional answers only please.

well the point of grabbing it by the back of the head is so it doesnt bite you.If you grab it like at the tale it can bring up its head and bite you.I dont think it should stun the snake.

Are you referring to the way that you can supposedly make a snake paralyzed or stiff by working the neck a certain way?

This is an old wives's tale that is supposed to 'explain' how some magicians in the Bible turned their staffs into snakes. It does not work in real life, but gets mentioned in odd places quite often. I have even seen it in a trivia book once.

Not sure about it stunning them, but they use their body on a surface to move, when you hold it by the neck you're stopping it from being able to move and you're stopping it from biting you.

Like you see them on tv when they hold a venomous snake by the neck to stop it biting them or when they are taking venom from it also known as milking it.

Don't do this. It hurts the snake .The upper most cerebral nerves gets a pinch which is uncomfortable for the snake and may damage the cord. Please stop doing this.
