No. Unjustified violation notices can be reversed just by appealing. If it's a justified violation, then it shouldn't be reversed because it doesn't belong on this website. It's a good website as-is. Who wants the ballfield littered with crap like spam and trollisms? If you think the Gap Ad is bad, you should see it when every question is answered with 100 ways to get a free gadget.
EDIT: I don't pretend to know what your question was, but if it's an unjustified violation, they will reverse it, ideally. People make mistakes, however they rarely make them twice, especially when you appeal your question that was deleted and give a good justification in your appeal. I had this account unjustly suspended and they reversed it on appeal almost immediately. I'm sure there are exceptions to every rule, but it's more likely than not that if they don't reverse a violation, it's because it was, in fact, a violation of the community guidelines. The guidelines for chatting are vague, true, but only because they can't really define "chatting," it's just one of those things where you know it when you see it, and adding a question mark at the end of something doesn't make it exempt.

I agree, good idea. Whoever said it is not has no freaking clue what they are talking about.
I had one violated from yesterday when I asked in Football.
Poll: Green Bay Packers or Dallas Cowboys?
People were answering their choices and then it was violated. The reason? Not a question or answer.
I got ten dumbazz violations just like that one, all yesterday. One was violated twice and they minused 20 points for that one alone. Fecking morons.
Anthony Spears, you have no clue what you are talking about. They have never reversed any of my violations AND I have NEVER heard of anyone else getting any violations reversed. Not one person, except you, has said they got a violation reversed.
Here are some of my violations, all from Polls and Surveys. See for yourself.
Deleted Question: Do you think some people make many silly questions so they can buy their friends with Best Answers?
Question Details:
Violation Reason:Not a Question or Answer
Deleted Question: Do you ever get tired of these conspiracy nut cases who see a shadow following them everywhere?
Question Details:
Violation Reason:Not a Question or Answer
Deleted Question: Did you ever date anyone who liked you back, but was confused as to what he or she wanted?
Question Details:
Violation Reason:Solicitation

How in the hell was that a soliciation? I was looking for freaking answers as to how people handled that situation because I am in that same damn situation right now. Fecking Yahoo, I have had enough of their bullcrap

I appealed a question that was pulled and it got my last profile suspended.
*Edit* I even had an answers pulled after they had recieved best answer, from the Asker's choosing and voters. Then after my profile was suspended, for offending people, I recieved at least another 50pts in best answers. I must have been SO offensive, getting best answers up the ying-yang, damn trolls.
