No. Soccer is way more crazy in the world then Baseball. The Europeans, Asians, and South Americans arent just going to push over and let Baseball be the worlds #1 sport.
Football is more likley though. But the chances are still UNlikley.

probably not
baseball has basketball and football soundly whooped, and it is close with hockey, as both are played in a lot of places, in fact baseball is probably played in more countries and more parts of the world, but no sport will ever come close to soccer
first of all because people are so passionate about soccer in most every country but the us and cananda
and also because its less expensive to get a soccer ball than to get a baseball, glove and bat, making it easier for kids in extremely poor countries to play soccer instead of baseball
thats why you dont really ever see any baseball players come out of sub-saharan africa

I highly doubt it but in Latin America it may give soccer a run for it's money one day. I doubt that Baseball will ever catch on in England, Europe or the Middle East. Those places I mentioned love Cricket and refuse to accept Baseball.

Maybe the question should be turned around.....
Wherever baseball is presented...it grows...
Soccer has been in the USA for.....years...and still hasn't got a foothold.
Soccer clearly is a world sport....but baseball has passion.
How many games a year does a soccer team play?
Baseball plays before some 300,000 - 400,000 fans every single day for a solid 6 months...with many tickets going for $65 +++...every single night.
Just looked it up...average pergame is attendance...33,000..factoring in off days.....about 433,000 people every night....
Try playing soccer every night, for those prices, anywhere in the world...let's see if they hold that fanbase..

It's starting to spread around the world but Soccer is so large now I doubt baseball will ever be able to catch up with it.

No because you need equipment to play the game and these 3rd world countries don't have it! That is why soccer is so popular because all you need is a ball to play and that is it! Baseball has way more strategy to it and is a much more exciting sport!

I can't see how... Baseball is almost sort of a rich man's sport... Proper equipment is expensive... Plus have you ever seen those true soccer fans? They make even the biggest baseball fans look like puny bandwagoners... Great Question though.
