Cat. They are more neat and clean. I live in the city on the third floor and its not always feasible to take a dog outside to pee. Plus, I am a really busy person and don't have time in my life right now to take care for a dog. Cats are more independent and don't need me around all the time.

I would pick a dog because I just bond with dogs more than I bond with cats. Don't get me wrong, cats make good pets too but as they say, dogs are a man's best friend.

Cat... I am currently dog sitting a woman's dog, and I dislike dogs very much, and this in NOT helping.

I prefer cats but I like dogs also. My last kitty died and I haven't gotten another one. I do have a Rott named Precious. She is the sweetest dog.

I've got a dog and a cat. I'm much more attached to my dog because she really interacts with me, and really seems like she wants me to be part of her pack. My cat, she doesn't give a rats ass about anything but her food. :)
