It does depend on the reason why you are having an abortion.

If it is a choice between if the mother lives or the fetus lives that is one I can't fault that person to decide.

If a woman who is 8 months along and decides to go to a concert and can't because she is pregant. So she has a late term abortion just for her own selfish desires.
That is wrong.

Abortion is like speeding we all think we are justified to do it. Yet we don't think of the cost if we lose control and kill someone.

Yet if my friend is bleeding I need to them to a doctor yes I am going to push the speed limit.

I have enough sense to know that sometimes abortion needs to be preformed.
I don't think it is something to be taken lightly or a right that should never ever be question or regulated.

A girl who is 14 can't even get her ear's pierced and needs a parents permission. Somehow if she is pregant she is now wise enough to have a medical procedure performed on her without letting parents know.
That is wrong.

The best thing we can do is have a reasonable debate and to know each side will have to give some ground.

We regulate guns and still we have the right to bear arms.

Until BOTH camps come to an understanding this will always be a firestorm of debate.

There is no way to answer this question without pissing someone off so I will repeat the answer given in the movie starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lang "The Birdcage"
"Instead of an abortion why not just kill the mother to be? Yes I know that it would kill the baby too. But if she was going to abort the baby anyways why not let the baby go down with the ship, so to speak?"
If you find that statement repugnant and ridiculous then regardless of weather you are pro life or pro choice this is an area that you may both agree on. Peace.

No one can answer that question. For some people, yes it's wrong...for other's it's not. I personally would never have an abortion, therefore it's wrong for me. It's not my place to judge whether it's wrong or right for someone else. That is their own personal choice depending on their own personal situation, and another person's personal life is none of my business.

well,i guess that could kinda sorta go both ways with that answer. Why? Because, you have to take into consideration what the individuals situation may consist of. 1.Why are they considering having one. 2.Would deciding to have one make that person`s situation better or worse.3.If they decide to go through with it, are they willing to take the steps needed to prevent it from happening again. Making that decision takes time, not too much though, just enough to decide if that is what they really want to do.

Abortion is like cutting off your own hand.

It is like that in a lot of ways.

Abortion is what it is.
People have enjoyed making it more religious though.

Abortion is absolutely wrong.
Abortion causes the innocent to suffer for the transgressions of another. Any action that takes the life of the innocent is wrong.
A person's right to choose should end with the decision to have sex.

The real question is, however, should there be a law against it.

That's much harder to answer.

Abortion is not wrong.

First, it happens frequently spontaneously. As far as the medical procedure itself, no it's not wrong - it's simply a medical procedure. When it is used during the course of gestation is where the main controversy comes in.
