You can shoot anyone you want, but just don't expect there to be no consequences.
If you shoot someone, you will be arrested and thrown in jail. You will have to go through a pretty serious legal trial to determine what happened. You will be able to argue that it was a crime of passion, but this may not necessarily get you off a murder/manslaughter charge (less if they didn't die).
It would be very easy for you to end up spending a fortune on a lawyer, and spending time in jail. The family of the victim could even sue you in civil court, even if they don't win, your legal costs could bankrupt you.
So as a general rule, don't go around shooting people. It is rarely going to lead to a good place. Especially since asking this question online prior to the event could be considered premeditation.
Even if you do avoid all criminal charges and civil penalties, how do you think your wife is going to feel about being married to a gun toting psychopath?

WE have a natural reaction to people who hurt us in our lives. Especially people who we love and trust and are close to us. Yet thinking this way could lead to serious problems later on down the road. Not just jail time, but the end of your life. If your wife is fooling around get some proof. Hire a private dective. Or ask her about it. Get counseling, do something to save your marriage. It will be worth it. Don't give up!

Why would you want to give up your life for someone who is just not worth.... if you were to do this .... you would go to jail and spend the rest of your life....TV... is just what it is.... entertainment..... not real life.... a two hour movie.. and its over ..... your life will be hard for a very, very, long time ... and sad too..... walk right out that door... get a good lawyer.. and find a lady that will love you and appreciate the love you have to give..... this women is just not worth it.... I pray that you are smarter than that...No, you can't shoot them and live a free life....

No, but I would get a divorce. My agreement with my wife is that she sleeps with no one else, unless I am present.
