You mean that "shady guy" who was Clemens's trainer and so close to him that he followed him from one team to another?
Jeter said what a classy, intelligent, Yankee team captain should say. I hate the Yankees, but this is about Clemens and steroids, not the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry. I was prepared to be a big fan of Clemens in retirement, and still am if he can clear himself. But I have also suspected him for years, and am honestly not surprised by the allegations.

There isn't any evidence against him except that shady guy's word. I believe Clemons. He is not Barry Bonds*. Derek Jeter just came out in Clemons' defense last night.

YES if he lies when they put his fat head i front of a congressonal hearing.as far as jeter coming to his defence AP,all he said was he's a good teamate and lets not rush to judge him,JETER i noticed was careful not to proclaim rogers innocence,VERY smart of jeter he looks good and wont lose face.
