When you get word that last-minute guests are on their way to your home, you can probably think of a dozen or more things you need to do: fix your appearance, clean your home, prepare food and drinks. What do you think is the most important thing to do before visitors arrive to make them feel welcome?

jump out of the window & run away!! lol Im really shy around guests.... when I was kid I use to hide in tree house or under stairs

well most the time i hop in the shower and get dressed when i first wake up, and i was probably cleaning my house when i found out they were comings, so i guess the only thing left to do is make some tea and cakes!

I think the first thing is to make sure the house is pretty clean and then run and try to make your self look good as well lol.

I would freshen myself up by changing clothes and a wash and as far as housework goes, pick up anything off the ground and tidy chairs and cushions and tidy the kitchen. Hopefully they're not expecting a meal if they haven't told you they're coming over. Just always have coffee and biscuits/cookies available.

i think il rush someone to the grocery store get sodas and cakes and clean up the mess !!
and yeah brush my curly ..unamanageable hair and flash my best smile!!!!

Empty the trash and wash up any dishes. Other than that I really don't mind the messiness as long as it's stuff like toys and newspaper out and not clothes everywhere.

My Grandma always said to clean the bathroom spotlessly since that's where people can sit down and look around.
