I just turn the volume all the way down so I can't hear it.
That is so obnoxious of Yahoo to put things that talk and repeat every time you refresh or move onto a new page on here. What is their problem?
Maybe if we all threaten to boycott the Gap then they'll take it off.

I think we should organize a boycott of GAP until they promise never to use such aggressive advertising techniques again. After all, Lands' End and LL Bean both have nicer clothes.

since its moving and there's audio all, I'm assuming that it should use somekind of multimedia plugin, like adobe flash player, shockwave player or so. Disabling the right plugin in your browser should prevent it from playing, but it will also disable all other application that use that plugin, like how youtube.com needs flash player plugin to work.
