Can't connect to the web, losing your connection or your access speed is way slower than advertised? If you are unhappy with their service, you MUST contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP), that's what they do!!!

Often, they aren't even aware of a problem, unless you tell them.

TIP: Just make sure your router settings, if you use one, are correct first.

If I was you i'd download TCP Optimizer from http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php

Then I'd navigate (on the same website) to Broadband > Broadband Tools > SG TCP/IP Analyzer. And enter the suggested tweaks into your registry using TCP Optimizer.

Then I'd reboot and do a speed test from the nearest test server on the list at http://www.speedguide.net/speedtest/

I hope this helps.

54mps appears like your instantaneous community velocity. this would pass all the way down to 1Mps whilst the sign degrades using interference and so on. I actually have a 100M duplex under pressure ethernet connection to my router and 100M under pressure duplex to the cable modem. Connection velocity to the internet is max 4M.
