Are you in major debt now?

Thank god, I was fortunate to pay all with cash.

I have done the credit card thing in years past but it is such a headache trying to pay it down. This year we aren't going as crazy as before. We will only be buying what we can actually afford to pay in cash. There won't be as much under the tree and I'm kind of thinking that is probably a good thing. Nip it in the bud before the kids get so spoiled they start counting the gifts every year and complain if there are fewer than the year before.

I always pay with a credit card so that I can accumulate miles. I pay off my cards 100% each month. I COULD pay cash, but why? I earn interest on the money during the 21 day billing cycle and and, usually, during the holidays you get 2 for 1 miles or some other promotion. I like my money to work for me..

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all

With the exception of the Wii that we found accidentally and weren't prepared to pay cash for at that moment - it's all been cash or debit card purchases.

I've wallowed in post-Christmas debt before and swore I'd NEVER do it again! It's too expensive and I just stink at paying off the whole balance of a card at the end of the month. I lack self control in that area!

Merry Merry Merry!

If I cannot pay cash I do not buy it!!!

My parents put things on credit one Christmas! In January my father left, quit his job and hid for 10 years! My mother was stuck with all the bills!! Not worth the risk. Believe me!!

Merry Christmas!

I did and I spent $1200, but that's not too bad. I'll pay it off with my Christmas bonus, we never get it until Christmas Eve so the credit card thing works.

I'm in debt, but it's not due to holiday shopping, as there are no presents under the tree this year.....Hubby had to change jobs, and it took awhile to get the new one, so we are having SERIOUS financial issues right now.....Gosh I wish I could go to sleep & wake up and see a stocking just filled with money....(nice dream anyway)...
