i bought a new ecs mobo, processor and ram on installing i get cmos chechsum bad?

on installing this board with xp i got cmos checksum bad but win 2000 was installed without any trouble how can i now install win xp

Could be that the CMOS on the motherboard has been damaged. You may need to replace the mobo.
