The Sciences, of the Spirit, physics, biology, chemistry...are studies of the universe. Each art is rendered only partially progressed on the path to solutions, unless the scientist is attuned in the quantum science and its cognisive role in the manifestation of what we call the entirety of the world, universe, life and each minutae's part in the great living world. Modern science is underfunded, to aquire funding the paymasters interest must be served over and apart from the actual truth....MAn or scientist cannot serve two masters with any sucess, so we have much ado about matters seeming irrelevant regarding inconsequential causes.....ramble ramble...
To play God, Scientists, would cure the world of all maladies...and we would be in peace, which we are not...hence no entity taling the responsibility of a much suffering world upon his shoulders...

Are you suggesting that "science" should stop looking for solutions because some people believe in gods?

science has helped us a lot especially medical solutions, making life a little easier, enabling us to travel all over the world science has made a great contribution, the trouble isnt with science trying to play god, its with the people who fund it, these arent religious people they are committed capitalist's, they want to make money out of every thing they own, gain the upper hand over their competitors, its the motives behind the projects that are worrying!
