Family and friends are what makes the day wonderful.
As long as I have some family and friends around me, I don't much acare for gifts - if I was to receive a thoughtful present from one of them, well that;s a bonus. Small personal or hand made gifts are more well received.
Passed down jewellery would have much sentiment attaached and would carry with it more signifigance than a new piece - although any gift given with love is jsut as nice.
Definitely give rather than receive.
Small jewellery pieces preferred but as stated, any gift given with love is well received.
Not into electronics but could always use money. The only problem with giving or receiving money is it is never used for the intended purpose of buying for 'yourself'. It is alwys used to pay bills or get fuel or grab some groceries etc. I don;t consider money a gift- unless it is given in the form of a gift voucher where it has to be spent on 'something' more personal.
