I have E cup breasts which don't really hurt my back, but are just a real hassle, particularly to find decent bras for because I'm kinda out of proportion elsewhere.
What would you say, knowing what I've mentioned, if I said I wanted breast reduction surgery? And could you please tell me what I'd stand to pay for the procedure (I live in Australia).

I would say it is YOUR body and YOUR decision.

And it truly is. Don't listen to others when it comes to YOUR body and your health.

I'm not sure about Australia, but insurance in the US can cover a breast reduction.

I know what it is like i am also an E cup I'm 17 and have been an E for about 2.5 years and finding a decent bra that will support you properly is really hard to find. Took me ages to find a decent bra and have only just found the perfect shop for my size. They don't really cater for bigger girls so i know how you feel. I really don't think you should go for breast reduction surgery, I bet many girls what die for your size breast and go to many lengths to get them. You should be proud of what you've got. They use to irritate me too, but I learned to love them because they are apart of me. It takes time but I am sure you will find the right support you need to stop them being a hassle anymore.

Have a very merry christmas :D

Have the surgery!!! Even if you're not having back trouble now, you will as time goes on.
I have 2 friends who have had breast reductions for similar reasons and both were delighted with the results: no more back pain; increased confidence; more clothes opportunities...
I'm not sure about cost, but if it's for therapeutic reasons (as opposed to cosmetic), I think you may get medicare assistance. Ask your doctor for advice.
Also, make sure your surgeon is a reputable plastic surgeon and is a member of the association of surgeons or whatever. Get advice from the AMA!

I did a quick search on the net under breast reduction cost and a few hits came up on nine msn. It seems to be around ten grand with money back if you have private health cover. Medicare will provide some funds if the condition causes back or neck pain. There is also a safety net for medical expenses so you will get a grand or so back for that. Check out medicare for that info.

good luck

Oh I just heard Breast augmentation..but breast reduction? whew! It is your own choice, we all know that every delicate operation has its adverse effects and may be detrimental to your health........and can be very expensive too........I dont know how much expertise do experts have in this, while anyhting is possible now..maybe there is really no worries, but I refrain from doing so..........guess they are your assets, just like a big bum...cant you just camouflage them with fashionable clothes and an envy for all women? Cant going on a diet and exercising somehom firm those ebautiful breats of yours and show a more normal size? well if you insist, I guess you need a professional help, the best cosmetologist or ebauty breast expert in town....but I stay firm and say, have them and enjoy the natural beauty...ok???
