i woke up to a violation this morning. someone asked a question about another user following him around and all i said is "either she likes you or you may have a stalker".
out of the 13 violations i now have, i knew i could expect 2. (one was for telling yahoo off in a question)

I would have a separate mailbox for the violations and then never check it. That is what I do. I don't THINK I get many violations, however I never check my Yahoo mail account. I think it will improve; just like many software problems, bugs are found but the system is always improving. I don't think Yahoo's violation system works well. Just ignore them and keep a separate mail account.

Yes, the violations are ridiculous in most cases. I think they should send us the name of the person reporting us.And, if it is in error, give that person a double violation. Don't go! merry Christmas!
