No. With CRT monitors, you have to worry about something called "refresh rate." If the refresh rate is too low, the monitor flickers. You may not even notice the flicker, but it is the equivalent of flashing a light directly into your times, on and off, for long periods of time. Many people get bad headaches from looking at CRT monitors for too long. I didn't even notice the problem until I started using LCD monitors; then my headaches disappeared. After using a CRT monitor once for a couple of hours, I got another headache.

No.

CRT - Cathode Ray Tube

In which the technology used is same as of Television screen. I am not talking about the HD TV or Plasma/LCD TV . The TV here is convenional TV which is nothing but a CRT based screen. IN CRT an electron gun omitts electron to the screen and the image is formed. So certainly a radiation will be there. Also when we watch TV, there is certainly a distance from the screen but when the same terminlogy is applies to Computer scree then the distance reduces drastically forcing our eyes to focus on screen and that too for long hours. Due to the same we can not say that CRT monitors are healtier for eyes.

LCD is a screeen which has got a liquid filled in it and he image is formed by charging the particles. Means low or nill radiation is there. Means healthier to watch the screen for lenghty hours and your eyes won't feel tired.

For most people, an LCD is easier on the eyes then a CRT. Does not have the flicker, is not as bright, etc. Many people get headaches from a CRT, especially if they are in a room with fluorescent bulbs as they flicker at a different rate from the montior and can cause eyestrain.

But it is a matter of personal taste which you prefer.

NO

If properly adjusted, an LCD would be better for you.

A CRT uses a standard picture tube type vacuum tube to display the image. Just as they told you not to sit to close to a
TV because of the low level of radiation they emit, the same is true of a CRT. However, you tend to sit much closer to the CRT than you would have sat to a TV.

CRT - Cathode Ray Tube monitors manufactured now a days are all low radiation hence safe for our eyes, gone are the days when they were a threat to our precious eyes.

But if you compare a CRT with LCD or Plasma screen the later ones (LCD or Plasma) score better, i.e., they are more healthier for your eyes.

If you check cost wise CRT scores better than the LCD and Plasma as they both are costlier as compared to a CRT.

If space is your constraint the LCD & Plasma score better than CRT, same is for style and looks.

you got to dedice...
