You cry, break a few things around the house, demand an explanation, then DUMP his sorry AS@! Remember, once a cheat always a cheat and no one deserves to live in fear that they will do it again. I am so sorry this happened to you but remember, there is someone out there for everyone. He made you think it was him, but he is scum. There is a song out there right now that is real popular and says "when you slammed the front door shut, a lot of others opened up" and this is so true. It will take you awhile to get over it, but you will. Some people recommend counseling but I think that is just a way for the guilty party to lay the blame for their poor judgement onto the innocent spouses shoulders. So sorry and God bless.

12 years is a long time to be with someone. and you dont give many details. Was it a one night stand, a zipless f*ck, or was it a long standing affair? It makes a difference because if it was just s*x, you can discuss what's missing from your marriage and prevent it from happening again. however, if he's been having an affair and has feelings for this other person then itd take a LOT of work to keep the marriage going. I think your best bet is to find out from him just whats been going on and consider what you want from your marriage. Good luck xx

Wow that's alot of years. Have you two talked about why he did it? Was it a one time thing or an on going affair? Don't let anyone tell you what to do, its you who is going to have to live with the decision. Maybe counseling could repair your marriage or maybe in your heart there is no fixing it. I'm sure deep down you know exactly what is best for you. Good luck.

Divorce. Child Support. Alimony. Car. House. Money. Run up Credit Cards.

I rather agree with blueeyes... but I'd sell his stuff in a yard sale while he's at work and make some bucks, lol...

When he goes to work, you pack all his bags and put them on the curb. Then you call the cops over and explain to them whats going on, If his name is on the lease, you may have to leave, go to a womans shelter, they'll protect you.
Then call your attorney, tell him you want the house back, the kids have to go to school, etc. After twelve years, what a slut.

That would hurt alot. I would confront him to get at the truth b/c he deserves that chance and just to see what he says. If its all true than its divorce time and he is out of here. Too much hurt, zilch trust is a recipe for a very unhappy marriage.

Be absolutely 100% sure. Then talk to him.

Do you want to work this out? Do you want to ditch him? Only you know what is in your heart and only you can judge if your relationship is salvageable.

I hope for your sake that you are wrong, but whatever happens, I wish you the best. Good luck!

That gives me an idea. Let the man sleep with other women. Then when he is with the wife he will be in a fully awakened state all the time. He won't feel tired.

You say to yourself..what am I going to do about this ridiculous and selfish man that I married . You do it calmly and rationally so that your anger ( which would be righteous ) does not spill over and onto your children if any.

Then you proceed.

You can leave and get a divorce, proved you did not cheat on him, or you can try to work it out depending on how much you love him. Those are your two choices.
