does your wireless have a password to stop just anyone accessing it???... if it does ... you need to tell him what it is ... does his laptop have wireless capability?

You havent been clear enough
But here is what i think you might mean
(A router is a main base for your connection where people can connect onto)
Your son has a ROUTER at his house, which he connects to. This is his wireless connection. At your house you also have a ROUTER and you want your son to connect to it?
If you have WINXP/2000/HE.
On your sons computer
Go Start -> My Networkplaces -> View wireless networks -> Refresh network list.
Find the network you want to connect. Double click it and voila! Connected.
(If your wireless has a password you will be prompted to enter it)

On the host computer, click Start, click All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click Network Setup Wizard. Follow the wizard's instructions

You will need to give him your encryption key, then use the wireless card utility on his machine to find your network, set the key and connect.

he should just be able to connect up to the server or something.. you might need to buy something for it though... but probably not
