I don't think he intended for us to commercialize it with thousands of presents, flying reindeer and Santa Claus. But I do think he hoped to see families coming together and celebrating their love for each other and for Him.

Actually I think he might have. He did give his son to forgive us of our sins. They sinned back then also. They actually had a huge celebration of Christ's Birth and there was a guy who was a lot like Santa in his doings. I believe God is amazed at what the human can or could do and what has been done. There was always fighting back in the Biblical Days.
I believe it is way too commercialized but it does stimulate the economy. That is why we have Black Friday. God has a purpose for us all, he is a very forgiving God. I think he saw the cycle probably before it came about.

Meanwhile, no. He probably doesn't like that it's a giant corporate scheme. None-the-less, you take what you can get. He'll see through those who are being naughty and nice.

no this isn't what God had in mind. its us humans who have it all wrong.we have to celebrate the birth of Jesus with reverence because the reason he was born was so that he could die for us.
