The chances for intelligent life existing are so remote that I am amazed that I'm here writing this. The drake equation is FAR too optimistic. While life is probably common, it is probably the equivalent of prokaryotes. Life on earth developed almost as soon as the rocks quit falling. Complex cells took another 3BY and it was probably a cosmic fluke. The steps that led to multicellular life are probably very unlikely to occur. And out of 50 Billion species the earth has seen in its history, only one has been intelligent. The Fermi Paradox suggests that intelligent life should colonize the galaxy in about 5 MY. That is a very short time in the life of a galaxy. Aliens are not here. That stongly suggests there are no aliens. Manned interstellar travel may be impossible. If that is so, there is a good chance we will never know.

That's happened all over the world in antiquity: apparently Arabian traders thought Gorillas were big African humans, and the Aztecs thought that Cortez himself fulfilled their prophecy of a fair skinned god who would lead them (not take their gold!)
Of course it is possible, the universe is truly huge and full of possibilities.
In all probability they, if you mean 'people', will have something like brains, eyes, ears, noses, tongues and skin receptors. What level of detail are you expecting from this question??? Do you want me to draw a diagram??

Of course it is possible, but it is extremely unlikely. they could also look like anything. It depends on what their own planet is like. There is probably a lot of life in the universe, but it's very far apart and hard to travel those distances. Besides, anyone capable of travelling those distances would not be interested in us.

So it seems. We have enough on our plate without building embassies for aliens. We're still in the dark ages, anyway. Let's clean up our front yard before we invite outworlders.

I come from a planet that gravitates at the same speed of the Earth around the Sun, located exactly opposite to it. (That's why it could never be observe).
Nobody believes me though :-(
