It is not necessary for everyone to have the same religion in order to foster peace and harmony. All religions promote 'a universal environment of peace and harmony'. Thus, all religions promote respect of each other's religions. This respect is a crucial, perhaps even a fundamental part of maintaining peace and harmony in the world. Because respect for each other's cultures and religions is what allows peace. It is an invaluable form of respect, because it does not necessarily require or accompany understanding. It does not mean you can't try to understand the other person, or question the other person's beliefs. It is just not rational to do it without knowledge, maturity and respect for one another. If youths can truly understand the values their religion promotes, and abide by them, then the world can reach some peace in the future.
