Lara or murali are probably the greatest match winner out of them 5, because both players have the ability to turn a match in like 1 session, Pietersen is an occasional match winner but he needs to do it more often instead he throws away his wicket

ponting is out of the equation because if he plays well or not the others perform well so he is not one.
Pieterson plays good innings mostly when the whole team is performing. ex- the current series compared with the previous.
Lara plays some match winning innings but the team ends up lossing. ex- lara scored 500+ runs in the last SL series but his team ended lossing the series.
sachin and murali are definitely match winners. sachinhas the most number of MOM awards. but compared to murali the team has also lost because of him he didn't perform well. ex- 96' worldcup semifinal.
murali has turned ample amount of matches both test and oneday purely by his bowling.
it would unlawful by me to compare the greatest ever batsmen and bowler cricket has ever seen and to compare who is the best.

Murali.
There would be no other player who is the key player for his team than Murali.
SL has won most of their TEST wins because of Murali.
If you analys data of the wins of SL, it would be noticed that Murali has take more than 8 wickets.

Murali. His bowling has led Sri lanka to victory many times, often almost single-handedly
