The 2 row is the DVI connector and the 3 row is the VGA connector. If it doesnt work, then unplug one of the video cards first so that it is not interfering, and then once you have it working. Then plug in the other graphics card. Are you running dual monitors?

Some graphics cards have dual feed built into 1 graphics card.

It's cheaper just to buy an older graphics card then to buy the adapter from a store....but there is always Ebay. Make sure you get the right adapter....aka Female to Male, Male to Female, etc. Note, not all DVI connectors are the same. Apple's are rounded on the edges.

sounds like you are using a DVI cable (white ends normally and with flat pins). You should be using a blue ended cable (VGA) that has rounded pins. If you are trying to use a DVI cable and you have a DVI out from your computer you would need to have a monitor that will support it otherwise you will need to use a VGA cable. The DVI has two rows for pins and the VGA has 3 pins. Sometimes when you plug in a cable it may take your monitor a little bit to recognize a power signal coming from your computer.

It seems you are bit confused between DVI and VGA connector. VGA connector has 15 pin in it and is usually called a D type onnector but DVI is a flat kind of connector and has got rectanglular shape.

Do check your monitor wheather it has the DVI input conector in it or not if it has also check in its menu (Monitor menu) wheather there is a selection for input type (DVI / HD15). If it is there ofcourse you can see the output on your screen.

On second side, just to confirm that your monitor is working just remove the Nvidia cards from your machine. And simple connect the 15 pin connector cable to your machine VGA ( Female Socket) and other end to the monitor and see monitor is working or not. Try this only when you have enough confidence to handle PC plugin hardware removal and adding.

PC has a DVI output, buy a DVI to VGA adapter and you should be fine, or if the monitor has DVI input, use that

Have you downloaded the latest driver software and rebooted your computer?

You may need a different cable if your monitor and graphics card have different pins......quick trip to Frys or Best Buy should do the trick for that. :-)

You may need a connector adapter that puts on another connector and pin configuration. There is only one place on your computer to plug in your monitor.

Maybe go to a computer or electronics store, see if there is a converter?
