I'll never forget the year my Grandma got me, my 2 sisters and our mom matching California Raisins sweatshirts. *barf*

Yes I opened presents and pretended that I liked it. The person who bought me presents, I would never tell them I dislike it cos I wouldn't like to upset them especially when it's Christmas. Christmas is all about fun, excitement, and happiness - so I wouldn't spoil their day, just appreti8 things and keep smiling. Merry Christmas

Yeah.

It's always nice to be polite even if you don't like the gift. The person did take the time to get the gift. (I got a dictionary for Christmas once... lol)

Merry x-mas, and I hope you'll like your presents this year.

Every year! Except from the ex he always gave crappy presents and finally one year I said to not get me anything unless he knew I would like it otherwise don't open his! Yes I am mean. But his idea of a present was something for himself! For his truck or for his hobbies that he knew I did not like doing.

Wow man a California Raisins sweater is pretty cool, I'd be like thanks grandma! But yeah it's happened to me more then once. When it's obvious it's a sincere gesture you just have to thank them for getting you such a "nice" gift. With a smile of course.

I think we all have, but I give my unwanted items to a shelter or to the Salvation Army and then I don't feel bad that I got a crappy gift.

Um, no.

But that particularly happens because my wishlist is on our family freezer, so everyone knows what to get me.

Surprises for me, are which of my relatives will give me what.

Try! Maybe you'll get something you want for once

Almost every year. My parents just don't get me. Except of course the day I bought one myself. (The happiest xmas ever.)

My dad's gifts are horrible. I say, "thank you very much" and give him a kiss and a hug.
