What would you do if a doctor spoke to you in a very humiliating and unprofessional manner?

Definately report him if he was being unprofessional or made you feel uncomfortable. You don't want this to happen to other people.

I would probably start laughing. Most of the MD's (aka MurDer) that I have come into contact with spoke in a very condescending manner towards me, as if I were stupid or not entitled to know about my own health -

I would expect it though if I went to see an M.D. for a reason other than a broken limb or something of that nature. I only want to be cut open, have things removed, have bones re-broken so they can be re-located, my blood drained, be drugged-up-so-I-would-shut-up, under certain circumstances and those circumstances would have to be sudden and life threatening. And then still I would expect to be humiliated and treated in an unprofessonal manner.

Im not saying all M.D's are this way, but all of the ones I have had a personal experience with.

First, I would get my medical records from their office and find a NEW doctor. Then yes, I would offer a complaint to whomever is above that doctor or to the Medical Society of America. (if u r in america)

And I would definitely get another doctor.

As long as she ( you presumed it would be a 'him') knew what she was on about and could sort my illness/problem then I don't really care.I go to Doctors for best medical advice/treatment, not to be mollycoddled to.
