You spend most of your time in the living room. It's the biggest room in the house.
The amount of time some people spend on the bog maybe they should call the bathroom (or toilet) the living room :-D
And people probably wouldn't go into the room if it was called the dying room!

Because hopefully there is no dead people there or they would have to call it a *dead room*. However, when I was growing up, my great aunt lived with us and she was set up in the living room. She had cancer and Mom took care of her. She also died in the living room. I'm talking about 55 years ago. hmmmm

Because supposedly you spend most of your time at home relaxing or 'living' in there... although I think that the kitchen is the most used room.

Maybe because, throughout the day, people are always in that room?
