No, he needs to get life in prison!! Sexually abusing anyone especially a child of 4 years old is the most awful thing anyone could do. People like that are sick in the head, and wont ever change. That M.F.er is going to get his salad tossed in prison!! Bubba's coming for you sucker!!
I'd also like to add that he has already been sexually assulted twice in prison, and he has lost 130lbs from all the stress! Good job Bubba keep it cummin!!! LOL

No, it's not enough time. Any sex crime against a child is not acceptable under any circumstances and he should be turned loose to the general population of the prison. I hope when the scum bag does get out that he is only allowed supervised visits. His daughter needs to be old enough to realize the true emotional scars that he has caused that child to have for the rest of her life. If she was only 4 when this took place, there should be a restraining order against him to stay away from the child until the child is is 18. Then she should play a game called Bobbitt. I'm surprised the inmates let him live to be able to get out. They don't like child molesters.

Absolutely not...the guy's a freekin creep and it's his first time right...yeah the first time he's been caught. If this happened in the US he would get far more.
A few years ago I had a guy doing renovations at a house I own (in Ontario)...he was staying there while doing the work. He left and 3 months later I got a call from the Ontario Provincial Police. This guy (in his 70's) tried crossing the border into Michigan on Nov 5 with his computer and belongings. They pulled him in, checked his computer and found lots of kiddy porn. He pleaded guilty and by Nov 17 he accepted 5 years in jail for this. The Michigan police felt he was possibly running away from something bigger because he wasn't putting up a fight. They called OPP and the OPP called me because he said he had been working on my house and living there previously. Nothing happened that I was aware of but I did feel that I had to speak to the neighbours with kids...boy that was not comfortable. Anyway...the point...the OPP told me that if he had been convicted in Ontario, he probably only would have gotten 18 months! Canada is not as harsh on criminals overall.

No it is not as in reality he will do only two years of that sentence
He would have got more time had he done an armed robbery
To me anything of a sexual nature should be viewed as more dangerous than an armed robbery and this should reflect in the sentencing
Not only had this man crossed the line but he has damaged an innocent child who will live with the effects forever
She now has a life sentence whereas in two years he will be scot free and feel he has served his time and now deserves a break as he has been punished
What infuriates me about this sentence is what message does this send out ?
The damage of a child's life is viewed as punishable with two years ?
Yet a bank job carried more time .. the banks can recover as they are insured and they are short term victims
This little girl will be a life long victim and will grow into a damaged person
She looked to her her father to love and protect her he failed her and i for one would love to have a picture of him as this girl needs justice and our legal system failed her and her life

No four years, plus time served so probably 20 months maximum IS NOT enough time served for sexually assaulting his own child, who will have to live with this event her entire life.
Having been sexually assaulted I have come to the conclusion that misogynistic judges don't really care about the sexual assault victim, but give only the minimum sentence to get it over with.
The sexual predators list is in dissaray, the person should be on it for life , not a decade as is warranted in most cases. I am beginning to think most male judges really don't consider sexual assault a serious crime .

His own daughter !! That's disgusting and so is the sentence. I gather he did not rape the poor girl as I feel sure he would have got at least 25 years. !0 years seems ok as he would probably get out After doing 5. I hope the lags in prison give him what he really deserves.

No 5 years is not enough! Ecspecially if he put it on the internet to degrade this poor innocent child. I don't understand how anyone could do this to a child, and this is even worse.....a father is suposed to protect and love his little girl, not be the monster who puts nightmares in her world. I was a child of sexual abuse by my step-father, and I forgive him, but it has affected me in my every day life!! I have received a life sentence.....

NO, it isn't! Chop his penis and balls off with a rusty penknife! This scum deserves life in prison (and that is the lightest punishment I could give him).
In my opinion, the judges in this country are far too lenient when it comes to filth like this. The only real punishment that paedophiles like this will get is when they are put into a prison, because the prisoners will beat him regularly, which is exactly what he deserves. His life will be absolutely miserable, and I hope that he's tortured by this for the rest of his life. I just hope that his poor daughter recovers from this.

No, but it is our justice system that needs to be over hauled. this year we have seen a lot of corruption in the White house all the way down to religion. Our country's moral fabric has been torn just like Romes was before it fell.
