Until morning - take some Tylenol or Ibuprofin. Do rinse the area with mildly warm water or sit in the tub.
If, the night before you were in contact in your vaginal area with
a cream or lotion, semen, or topical birth control or scented douche-- You are likely having a surface reaction to what ever you came into contact with. And, yes, a woman CAN BE ALLERGIC to a guy's semen.
This is the time to use a plain water douche gently.
DO NOT apply vaseline or any type of oil, as it traps the surface of the skin rather than cleaning it off. Oils and grease also trap in bacteria that can be causing the irritation.
A vaginal infection is also a possibility. You can go to an all night grocery or drug store or Walmart to purchase a cream such a Vagisil to treat the infection.
If this does not go away in a couple of days, see your Dr...................This is a long week-end coming up. You might try giving the Dr's office a call in the morning.

Vaseline will help a bit, but you should go out first thing in the morning and get you one of those yeast infection kits from the store. But if it's that bad you may want to go see your doctor.

One thing that could help with some of the itching is sitting on a cold pack such as a bag of frozen peas (learned about this from some on one of the lists I'm on for vulvodynia-pain of the external genital area).
