It's from the band's second album, Kerplunk. It's also not in the dictionary. So I'm guessing it's maybe a slang word? My boyfriend would like to debate that it means malachite like the mineral but it just doesn't work with the lyric. If anyone could give me a good answer I'll be very grateful. This is something I've been trying to figure out for about four years now.

A malachite is basically a type of stone.
In legend: it is considered a lucky stone.

So he is saying
"SHe hold my malachite* so tight"
Basically means she keeps him lucky..

Hope that helped!
