A higher education is any learning that a person acquires through advancement of his/her basic skills.
This can be done through work experience, apprenticeships, internship's, or simple on the job training.
Higher education is often only associated with going to a college, or university.
Even after you graduate from any of these institutions you will still have to go out there and gain practical experience, a piece of paper saying you know something, only opens a door; the proof will be in the pudding when you have to go out there and do it.
