I had sex during that week without a barrier method, my partner did withdraw before ejaculating but I cant be 100% sure no sperm made it's way into me :S I took an active pill everyday, but Im not quite sure how it works??
Was I still protected?

WITH ANY contraceptive method it is NEVER 100%.
If you don't know how the one you use works then GO ASK the doctor NOW.

While you are there you can ask him this question too.

Absolutely not. When any man is "excited" he pre-cums way before real ejaculation. The pre-***, contrary to some belief, does have sperm. I'm not quite sure what an active pill does, but since I've never even heard of it then it's probably not reliable. You need to take a pregnancy test if your next period is late, and next time use a condom or something.
