we've had the whole sex talk thing. but now he's really getting me upset because i can't seem to get it through his head to stop writing crude stuff back and and forth texting. he used my cell and left all the messages on it.
he sounds like a little perv!!!!! i don't want him to be that kind of boy. all the girls are crazy about him and a few of them talk worse than him!
he is an extremely well mannered young man other than this crap!!!
i have told him time and time again not to talk to girls this crudely. but when they keep going going at it back and forth....UUUHHHH....i have takin communication away, and then when i'd give him another chance, he'd end up same place...it is all sex chat texting....

I feel your pain! i have a 13 yr old going through the same thing and resently it was found that he had 3 porno's in his room. mind you he's my step son, and he lives with his mom and step dad we have no idea where these videos came from. Ours are kept in our bed room which no one but my husband and i are allowed in to.

Boys are going to do things that make you scratch your head. I would ban him form using your cell phone. Sit down and talk with him about the proper way to act and talk. Sometimes it's just because his friends are doing it. Tell him how this makes you uncomfortable, and makes you embarressed to see him talking this way. Remind him that you know he can be a very polite and well mannered young man and that is what you expect of him no exceptions.

I would also suggest strongly you save the message you are receiving on your cell phone and go talk with the girls parents. They can't denie what is plainly there clear as day with their kids phone number on it.

And no more chances. untill he shows you he can be a proper and polite young man, he doesn't get to have fun with the cell phone.

dont worry my 15 yr old daughter resently told me of coming home from a school dance when she was in junior high, and her brother was in his room which is at the front of the house with the blinds open, masterbating, and as she went to pick up her stuff, her friends went eeeewwwww your brothers jacking off with the blinds open. This has come back to haunt her this year as a sophmore at school.

Sometimes in the privacy of your own bedroom out of sight of him laugh about it.

Time to take the cell phone away from him.Yeah he will be mad but you have to set his limits thats how he will learn. Its not easy doing it on your own but some nice firm boundaries for inappropriate behavior is in order. I would not consider even giving him the phone back until several months from now if you can see real clear appreciation for this priviledge. Its up to you. Good luck! I was a single mom with three teenagers if you need any support feel free to email me. Merry Christmas

Young guys are all the same. He is very normal and prob wont grow out of this stage until he is like 26 LOL joking
Try and look past it. Unless it develops into something more serious...for example he offends others or starts something physically then you may need to take things further. But as for the moment he seems perfectly normal and as long as he is well mannered when he speaks to others and knows his place then you're fine :)

Well.
i can tell you that all boys talk like that.
My guy friends all t alk like that. Even if they are a good boy, they still have that in them.
Girls these days are worse than the guys.
its sadd.
But really you dont have anything to worry about.
its all in the norm.
Its sad how girls like it when guys talk to them like that.
Its gross and some girls dont want to here it.
But as long as the girl is talking that way too,its not going to hurt anyone.

This is normal for him to be this way. Puberty is crazy. Though, I would talk to him more about it. This would bother me too, if I were a parent. Just talk to your son, hopefully he'll understand not to talk this way with girls. Tell him what's on your mind.

As for the cell, limit his privileges. You may want to block the text messaging option. Though, it's your cell. Not his. Be the authority. Take care.

Take the cell phone and/or computer away from them and be a real parent. Those are luxuries/privileges, not necessities. If he can't behave, let him know there will be consequences.

At his age, boys think about sex every few minutes. It's probably normal for him to talk about it.
Since it's your phone, you could get the texting blocked, or take away his phone privileges for longer periods of time.
