If your tubes were only tied the answer is YES they can come untied. Now if they were cut, burned, stapled and then tied then the answer is NOT LIKELY and in all honesty NO! On the medication part you need to ask your doctor those questions because everything you take in the baby does also. I am 42 and you have my sympathy. I will be praying for you. This is in response to DIG IT--menopause symptoms are not the same as being pregnant.

I have been in your boat many, many times and I have taken many many hpt, and thankfully I have never been pregnant. Sometimes the combination of medications can cause the symptoms of pregnancies as well as an hormonal inbalance, which I frequently get because I only have I ovary and when you start to question things your mind takes over and its almost like we talk our selves into it. I had my tubal against my wishes so getting pregnant again would be wonderful, but after I turned 40 I changed my mind and now if I got pregnant, I certainly wouldn't be jumping for joy. I have 2 - 4 year old grandchildren now and I don't think they would want an uncle or aunt that is younger than them. Relax I really think it is a combination of your medications and it is the reactions your having to it, but go out and get your self a hpt and do that so that you will have some peace of mind. Good Luck, Maybe you could let me know what happened when every thing is over and done and your back to normal.

With everything that's been going on in your life, the tubals could become unreliable. If you're still sexually active & had unprotected sex recently, you should take a pregnancy test at the doctor's office & have your tubes checked while you're there. Sometimes it could be early menopause that you're having these symptoms. Best to have it checked as early as possible so you can be eligible for more options at your age. Early detection is always the best prevention. Another thing to do in the mean time is to stay strong, stay calm & be positive, there's always a solution to a problem if you just believe & seek help sooner rather than later. Hope this helps. Good luck!

The thing is you can't take any chances with you tubes tied to wait, you need to know has soon has possible because it can impact your childs life has well has your own, because they need to be sure it's not a ectopic (tubal) pregnancy which causes alot of complications, I really hope i was able to help anyone out there who may have needed this advice and trust me i know it's alot, but hang in there you'll be fine. :)

I have not heard that tubals are reliable for 7-12 years, I thought they were pretty much permanent - forever. Sometimes people try and do a reversal but that involves an op and not a high success rate. If I was you I would go to the doc as soon as you can, you are worried and that could be adding to the symptoms. Also, you are on medications you said....Pain med's can sometimes upset the stomach, as can other medications. There are a lot of things that can cause the same symptoms as pregnancy. Good luck and please go to the doctor as soon as you can, worrying won't do you any good.

It is very possible that you could be pregnant. It is extremely important that you find out as soon as possible, especially with your medications. Certain medicaton for epilepsy, like tregretal or dilantin can be harmful to the baby.
Years ago, women who had epilepsy were often discouraged from getting pregnant. Today, the odds are in your favor. Thanks to early and regular prenatal care, more than 90 percent of pregnant women who have epilepsy deliver healthy babies, according to the Epilepsy Foundation.
Every woman reacts to pregnancy differently. For most pregnant women who have epilepsy, seizures remain the same. For a few, seizures actually improve. For others, pregnancy makes seizures worse — particularly during the first trimester.
Any medication you take during pregnancy can affect your baby. Birth defects — including cleft palate, neural tube defects, and heart and neurological problems — are the major concern for seizure medications. But without medication, uncontrolled seizures pose more serious threats for your baby, such as oxygen deprivation. Sometimes, seizures may cause miscarriage or stillbirth.
A few women can safely taper off their medication before pregnancy. For most women, however, it's best to continue treatment during pregnancy. To minimize the risks for you and your baby, your health care provider will prescribe the safest medication that's effective for your type of seizures. No single medication is best for everyone.
As your pregnancy progresses and your blood volume increases, your kidneys may remove the seizure medication from your system more quickly than previously. Severe nausea and vomiting during early pregnancy may upset the balance as well. Frequent dosage adjustments may be needed to maintain seizure control.
Most importantly though, again, you need to get to a doctor and confirm if your pregnant. As you can see, the sooner the better for you and any baby you might be carrying.
All the best.

You may be going through menopause. Women going through it often experience symptoms that make they feel like they could be pregnant. I would go see a doctor and have that person run a menopause test on you.
