Yeah, I read your last question related to this one. Ranto's answer seemed make the assumption that you are Ivy League or something. An MBA itself just doesn't cut it these days. I have a friend whose older brother has an MBA from the University of California Irvine, and his best job offer was mail carrier for the US Postal Service. LOL, another reason to go postal!!! Whatever you do, go to the best school you can, try to get involved interning or something (good for making connections, getting to know people, and racking up experience), major in something you excel in and like, and most importantly, just get that damn diploma. I rather be a mail carrier than work at Wal-Mart or Burger King.

Radio stations aren't really very typical for businesses. You seem to have a lot of opinions based upon one organization, and I don't doubt that your experience was true there, so if you want to stay there throughout your career this might be true. However, I have to say that most of the jobs my students get they could not have gotten if they hadn't gotten a college degree, and in many cases, they could not have gotten them without a specific degree in business.

If you want to remain in a clerical or low-level sales position for life, then no, you don't need a degree, but it isn't only CEOs who have business degrees. There are many thousands of students who graduate with college degrees in their subject matters every year these days, so it has become harder and harder for those without degrees to get those jobs.

It is true that in some businesses, it is not what you know but whom you know - especially in organizations where the CEO wasn't a college graduate this might mean that you could get a job anyway. What happens more often, though, is that it gives the advantage to those who went to school where the CEO did.

It's a formality. But not always necessary. Donald Trump witnesses this all the time with his colleagues and friends... some are the smartest and most brilliant people in the world and yet, they're dumb when it comes to success. Sure, they make a living, but they're not wealthy. And you have those who don't have any degree or have one but not brilliant, and yet, they are very successful.

There are numerous factors... but most of it comes down to doing what you love, have a positive attitude, take life by the balls attitude, and learn from successful people. There are many more of course, but those are the big ones. You should try reading Trump's book, Think BIG and Kick *** in Business and Life and many other business books. Very helpful.

Plz stop taking me so literally I didnt mean to imply you had a "rich uncle" by saying this I simply meant not everyone has connections..I didnt.

Why are you trying so hard to defend the "You dont need college" arguement? Looks like you are already planning to not go. You can fool yourself into thinking you don't need a degree, and you may not, but chances are you will. Again employers do care about experience but whos going to give you experience if you dont have a degree?

Let me ask you other question "Is business degree has any disadvantage / harm?" I agree business degree is not necessary for any business. And I believe you learn more while doing a job, according to me 80% knowledge come throgh job and 20% throgh education. And that's 20% knowledge make you different from others. Master degree definatively give you a broader vision, better analysing power. And also add a weight on your resume.

I think that having any degree now adays just shows that you took the initiative to continue your education and HOPEFULLY you took something related to what you want to do in life.

Look at it this way, if you want to be a shoemaker, you are an apprentice to a shoemaker.

So although it is not NECESSARY, it looks good on a resume and gives you credibility.

i desire you already know maximum marketers don't have levels in any respect. they only do it because of the fact there is the two no decision, as is the case with immigrants, or because of the fact they have a given capability, as with eating places or crafts as an occasion. I tell human beings a business enterprise degree is a waste of money. Why? on account which you're placing money into an coaching as a replace of into beginning your business enterprise, and while you're somewhat desirous to flow into business enterprise you will do exactly it, not spend years and years build up debt to do it. in case you want to sharpen your skills this is straight forward, flow out and purchase a e book on small business enterprise, it ought to have a piece on assessing your strengths and weaknesses in business enterprise. Then artwork on your weaknesses in school. as an occasion while you're damaging at accounting and don't want to outsource it, take accounting in school. while you're damaging at administration, take some administration classes. strengthen what you're vulnerable at. while you're captivated with business enterprise I say cease dropping time in school. Spend it slow in school engaged on what you're lacking in. you could constantly flow back for that degree as quickly as you're effective. Oh and the corporate worldwide is made from agencies that are already effective. huge business enterprise hires knowledgeable human beings. yet to start one your self you do not ought to coach your self to all of us yet your self. If a business enterprise degree is what you need to get the arrogance to flow forward with your dream, decide for it. I nevertheless think of this is something you do to artwork for somebody else, not your self. yet that's merely me. carry on with your dream, notwithstanding that would nicely be.
